The six counties that make up Northern Ireland are home to 90 golf courses. These are the perfect mix of Links and Parkland courses, and this is a country renowned for its scenery, its hospitality, and its golf.
Lodging is planned in the luxury Galgorm Golf Resort & Spa, a Fodor’s Choice hotel. Set on 160 acres of lush grounds, Galgorm is swish, yet cozy. With two excellent restaurants, hotel bar, and traditional Irish music played Tuesday and Thursday nights, this is the perfect place for SGA to take in the experience of Northern Ireland while we celebrate Rory’s many achievements. We have a very exciting agenda for the event and are looking forward to this visit very much.
Day One: Sunday, June 23
Transfer in luxury coach from Dublin Airport to Galgorm Resort
Check into hotel; Welcoming dinner and drinks
Day Two: Monday, June 24
Full Irish Breakfast; Transfer to and from Holywood Golf Club
Golf at Holywood and Tour of Memorabilia Museum
Day Three: Tuesday, June 25
Full Irish Breakfast; Transfer to and from Castlerock Golf Club
Golf at Castlerock
Day Four: Wednesday, June 26
Full Irish Breakfast; Free Day to relax or tour local sights
Group trip and visit to Giants Causeway and Dunluce Castle
Day Five: Thursday, June 27

One day of golf each is scheduled on Holywood, Castlerock, and the Galgorm Resort course. Hotel check-in and welcoming dinner are set for June 23. Golf will be scheduled for June 24, 25, & 27. June 26 will be a sightseeing day. Awards & closing dinner will be June 27, and day of departure is June 28.
If you wish to fly into the area, the best plan is to book travel into Dublin (DUB). This is about 30 minutes away, and airport transportation is included. Some SGA members are planning to visit Glasgow or Dublin the preceding weekend to tie the SGA St. Andrews trip to this one, and optional arrangements will be given out as details are confirmed.
