Costs include five nights lodging, tax, resort fees, three days of golf with buggy (!), transportation to and from golf course, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages daily. Cost per golfer, double occupancy, is $3890. Non-golfer cost, double occupancy, is $3550. Single occupany golfer cost is $4850. Social member cost (no golf) is $4480. Deposit is $2400. Balance is not due until August 1. Deposits are refundable at 90% if cancellation is made at a reasonable time.

Altantica Grand Mediterraneo is located approximately 20 minutes from Corfu International Airport (CFU). Both the rideshare service Uber and taxis are readily available for transportation. Renting a car is another option; discovercars.com is recommended. Private transfer services also can be arranged.

Deservedly famous for its staggering beauty, Corfu, Greece, received international attention after it became the backdrop for the British tv series, “The Durrells.” The drama was based on the life of author Gerald Durrell, and on a trilogy of books written by Durrell when his family lived on the Ionian island in the 1930s.

Corfu Golf Club is strategically located at the heart of Corfu island in Ropa Valley. Often described as a natural oasis in the middle of Corfu, Corfu Golf Club is an ecosystem in itself. The course was designed by Swiss golf architect Donald Harradine and was built in 1971. The course has been said by many to be one of the best hidden secrets in Europe, and is both friendly to beginners as well as challenging to the more experienced. Today, it is a magical place with tree groves around the fairways, ponds, streams and a background of the beautiful surrounding hills.

Atlantica Grand Mediterraneo Resort, less than five minutes by shuttle from Corfu Golf Club, is a stunning five- star hotel for adult guests only, and exudes luxury and style. It offers a sensational cliffside setting with unobstructed panoramic views of the Ionian Sea. Saturday, October 18, is a free day for sightseeing and relaxing. We will schedule a trip into and tour of Corfu Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its many breathtaking Venetian buildings and defensive architecture. Shops, restaurants, and cafes reportedly are more reasonable in price of goods than in other places in Europe.
