Cost for one golfer, double occupancy, is $2960. One non-golfer, double occupancy cost is $2430, and single occupancy golfer is $4180. Social member (single occupancy, no golf) is $3630. Day of arrival and welcoming dinner is February 22. Scheduled golf will be February 23, 24, & 25. If you prefer two days of golf please let us know. Awards dinner is the evening of February 25. Departure date is February 26, 2026. Deposit is $1000 per guest room.

To encourage our members to let us know their plans early, we offer $100 deduction for deposits received before November 25. Balance is not due until January 15. We are looking forward to an interesting time in the First City! Please join us!

Did you know that many historians believe that the first Thanksgiving was a feast in St. Augustine? Some 50 years before the pilgrims broke bread with the Wampanoag in Plymouth, Massachusetts, Spanish colonists sat down for a meal of shellfish, squash, corn, alligator, tortoise and wild turkey with members of Florida’s Timucua tribe.

A visit to St. Augustine reveals more than four centuries of history which owes much to the Native Americans, as well as to Spanish, African Americans, Greeks and English.

There are no hotels in St. Augustine quite like the Casa Monica. Its majestic history greets guests at the door, drawing them in with promises of a storied past in every detail. Originally built in 1888, this hotel is nestled in the heart of St. Augustine’s Historic District and is within walking distance to popular museums, boutiques, and restaurants.

Just a short drive away from the Casa Monica is the Palencia Club. This Arthur Hills-designed masterpiece winds through centuries-old maritime oak trees and along the Intracoastal Waterway. The generous practice area includes a 400-yard double-sided range along with 10,000 square feet of putting and chipping areas.

In addition, SGA will play World Golf Village’s King & Bear course, designed by the team of Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. Combining the contrasting styles of the two designers creates a challenging course which incorporates features from both traditional Scottish-links courses and new traditions in American golf.

Golfers and Friends of Golfers alike will enjoy exploring downtown St. Augustine, 2025’s Southern Living “Best Small Town of the South.” An optional sunset cruise will be offered, as well as shopping, sightseeing, and other activities.

SGA accommodations are in the Casa Monica Resort & Spa, a Marriott Autograph Collection hotel. Costs include four nights lodging in an upgraded guest room with one king or two queen beds and separate sitting area, mini fridge, wet bar, bathroom with shower/bathtub combination, occupancy tax, resort fee, three rounds of golf with cart, two group dinners with cocktails before, taxes, entry fee, and prizes.
