Designed by the legendary Pete Dye, Avalon Lakes is one of the premier golf courses in the world. It is ranked 4.5 out of 5 star by Golf Digest. The par 72 course features undulating greens, beautiful terrain, and plenty of lakes! The signature hole is number 8, a majestic peninsula par 3 that plays from 128 yards to 244 yards. The usual pin placement is located only steps from the water’s edge.
Just across the state line in Pennsylvania lies Buhl Park Country Club. It was designed by renowned architect Tom Bendelow. The layout is over 100 years old and features push-up greens, a throwback 
to its heritage. Many consider Buhl Park to be the most challenging course in the Avalon lineup. Well-groomed fairways and greens keep Buhl Park difficult yet friendly, and the staff can offer tips and tricks for playing your best round.
Squaw Creek is one of the oldest championship-caliber golf courses in the Midwest. Her mature tree-lined fairways provide a visually magnificent memory. Squaw Creek was designed in 2004 by Stanley Thompson, a highly talented Canadian golf course architect with more than 150 courses in his portfolio. Thompson was best known for his ability to intricately weave the golf course into its natural surroundings.

The Grand Resort was ranked the best resort in Ohio for 2026 by U.S. News & World Report. Not only is it a full-service resort which offers unparalleled amenities and service, but it also has a private club component, which will make us a member of four golf courses. Each club is a showcase all its own.
The resort also features a full-service spa, two onsite restaurants and four bars, as well as three notable pools – two outside and one indoors – including the adults-only Roman Bath, heated to a therapeutic and toasty 90 degrees and open 24 hours a day, year-round.
Medici Museum of Art
The Grand Resort enjoys a special collaboration with Medici Museum of Art, which is just a short walk out the front door. This new art museum features art from some of the industry’s top creators, including American super realist sculptor and author Carole A. Feuerman. She is the only artist to make realistically painted outdoor sculptures and the only woman to sculpt in this style. The museum also showcases other pieces from contemporary and classic artists. In addition, the museum features traveling exhibits, community art classes and a Museum Shop.
